Copyright safeguards your work's integrity, provides legal recourse against infringers, and preserves your legacy. The original and creative content you solely and exclusively create is your Intellectual Property, your copyright. KINETK uses distributed ledger technology to stamp an immutable record of its provenance in the form of a ‘certificate’. We then apply our proprietary Agentic AI fingerprinting, tracking and detection technology to identify your content across platforms, even after it’s been edited, cropped, or reposted. Our tech supports both KINETK Watermarked Content as well as non-watermarked, or already uploaded content. 

Here’s a breakdown of what it means:

1. Stamp: When you link your content to your KINETK dashboard, we generate a unique digital fingerprint for each asset. This could be any image, video or song imported manually through or upload content tool, or it could include your entire content catalog imported directly from YouTube and/or TikTok using our channel connection tool. However you decide to link your content, we ensure to provide the stamp, ensuring that your content is uniquely identifiable.
2. Certificate: Each stamp is then recorded on a secure, immutable ledger in the form of a certificate. ensuring that the record cannot be altered or tampered with. The certificates host information related to the asset as well as the creator in a way that cannot be altered or deleted. See WHAT IS A CERTIFICATE” for more information below.
3. Protect: Once the asset has been stamped and certificate has been created, KINETK’s agentic AI scanning agents can detect even the most covert instance of your content appearing across the internet. We generate analytics reports available directly from your dashboard so you can see how your content moves beyond traditionally available platform data. Premium users are notified when their content gets reposted, where it appears, and who’s engaging with it.

Certificates are tamper-proof digital files, etched on an immutable ledger, or blockchain, providing a clear record of content ownership and provenance. Specific metadata includes:

• Created timestamp
• Display name or creator handle
• Content type (for example, video, image, or audio)
• Platform of publication (for example, YouTube)
• Certificate ID
• Original video or asset URL
• Publication date

By stamping the metadata on the blockchain it is immutable. That means, it cannot be removed. You can, however, deactivate your KINETK account at any time.

There are two ways to get started using KINETK: 

1. Create your account with your email email (MagicLink or Google), connect your content platforms (i.e. YouTube, TikTok, or both), and certificates are automatically stamped. 

Or

2. Create your account with your email (MagicLink or Google), skip the connect platform function, and go straight to your dashboard to create certificates manually. 

With option 2, you will need to use our upload feature to build your dashboard and create certificates. You will also not have access to our automated stamping functionality to protect future uploads.

No. KINETK doesn’t host, alter, or gatekeep your content. You don’t give up any control or rights by working with KINETK. Your content is still yours and you transfer no ownership of anything to anyone.

Connecting your YouTube or TikTok account to KINETK is recommended for automatic data import, real-time certificate creation, and enhanced account security. 

And just to remind you, we cannot modify your content or make changes to your account, and our integrations with YouTube and TikTok are fully approved and compliant integrations.

Yes. You can delete your account at any time from within the app settings. Deleting your account stops the creation of new certificates, but does not delete existing certificates already recorded on-chain.
